More About This Bolivian Coffee
This exceptional Bolivia coffee is crafted from hand-picked, 100% Arabica Red Catuai & Typica cherries. The dedicated farmers carefully sort, pulp, and wet ferment the beans before sun-drying them in parchment. Once ready, the coffee is sent to the cooperative for dry milling and final export, ensuring top-tier quality.
We are thrilled to feature our first Bolivian coffee on our website. The point we tasted it on our cupping table, we knew it was special. This coffee comes from La Cooperativa Corpus Cristhy Illampu R.L., a micro-cooperative in the Caranavi region of La Paz, selected in 2001. With only 40 contributing farms spread across approximately 120 hectares, this cooperative is deeply committed to sustainable and ethical coffee farming. Their core principles include:
-
Improve and expand coffee production plots with ecological and organic cultivation.
-
Implement benefit money according to the needs of the Cooperative.
-
Promote the finished product to the national market
Bolivian coffee delivers a unique and vibrant flavor profile, recalling the loyalty of the farmers who produce it. Experience the richness of Bolivia’s coffee heritage with every cup.
